 Hi There,
it is 1250 AM and I got home from work about an hour ago.
Took Bentley out to pee and now I am vegging down to go to sleep. I have to be up by 0930 cause I have the plumber comming to see why my sink isnt draining faster. It is draining like molasses.

Carl is comming home on Wednesday from being in chicago for over a month. I am missing him and I am glad he is comming home. I am supposed to go to chicago on the 29th but I thinking of not going and staying put.. My sister is giving my daughter a shower and only about 15 people are comming. I think I just might suspend the ticket and go another time when I can devote more time to Maddox and not have to share time with him and my daughter. Plus Ill be saving bout 400.00 on a rental car and hotel.

Well talk on my friends,
Ill check in later,

Hi Carla and my OFF family:

I don't know what happened on FB, but I couldn't chat with you tonight, Carla. You were online but for some reason we couldn't communicate.

Easy night at work, but I was draggin' ... didn't sleep well Saturday into Sunday ... didn't get to sleep until 7 a.m. and got up at 9:30 a.m. and couldn't get back to sleep. Took a nap from 2:30 p.m. to about 3:15 p.m. before I went to work, but still was out of it. Luckily, I only had three pages all night. I wound up proofing a lot of pages ... read the U.S. Open story in all five La. Gannett papers.

Well not much else going on. off to bed soon.

Gooooooood Monday morning OFF friends!!  We're home from running our little route and man did it pour down rain!!  We needed it soooo badly and the whole time I was thanking God for it and asking for more.  We need several days of it to "catch up" on our dryness and also to help put out that forest fire up the road from me.

Today is payday and bill paying day.  I thought we'd go to Taco Bell for lunch.  My daughter, Rachael, and my DH loves TB and I order the pintos and cheese so it works for everyone.  Plus it's cheap...lol.  I've decided to keep  my Rachael home for the summer this year.  She has Downs Syndrome and is now 18 yrs. old.  She's on new medicine for behavior/tics which is common at her age but the meds make her so sleepy.  So, I decided to give her a break from routine of having to get out the door every morning.  I know I use to live for my summers.  I think it'll work just fine.  So today is an outing, she'll help Mama grocery shop after we have our lunch.  This girl is my heart.  Can't believe I've had her since her 1st birthday!!

Eileen, I'm so glad  you had an easy night at work.  Sometimes it's just nice to not be so pressured at our task.  Personally, I like it busy so the time flies by but not if it's stressful.  Make sure you get some rest today.

Well, I'm going for my 2nd cup of coffee, then shower and hit the road to get these errands done.  Everyone have an awesome day for this is the day which the Lord has made, let us rejoice and be glad in it!!

Morning all, sober 230 days and so proud of me.
Carla glad your Carl gets home soon and that you get some needed not running around time for a change. Did you find gold shoes yet for the wedding? Will call ya later today.
Eileen your always getting "hit" at work with something different. Have any of the open positions helped you workload either way? Hope you don't get a headach today.
Cindy you got rain, lucky...we need it so bad. Having a summer break is always nice for kids. Rachael will love the quiet schedule.

We had a super lazy Fathers Day. Mass was wonderful. Watched the original Stagecoach on TCM last night. So good and so well done. This movie made John Wayne. Some of the dialogue from this movie could be said today and be pertinent. Movie made in 1939.
I put up photo's on FB. Had major trouble with that site over the weekend. I get too frustrated. I am finding Farmville difficult to work on, don't enjoy it so will try and remove it. The slot games are fun and easy.

Hubby has VA app today. I go to SS tomorrow to sign up for benefits. Hope I have enough proof of who I am to get this done. Make sure you take care of your original documents and SS card. I don't have my original SS card and can't get one without some other original documents. How do illegals get stuff so easily and a born here, grown here, paid taxes, and contributed for over 50 years here citizen has trouble?
I see a new PCP on Wed, scared what he will find. I know I have not taken good care of me, except to stop drinking. Prayers requested please.
It is already 77 and here comes the sun. Have a good safe fun Monday all, hugs Monica

Carla,
Thanks for reminding me that I need to get a replacement Social Security card.  I lost mine when I lost my wallet.  Do you have a passport that you could use as a legal document to prove who you are?  That and my birth certificate where what I used when I was hired at my new job, as proof of eligibility to work.  Fortunately, I organized all my paperwork one weekend in the Winter, so I had everything in a file folder to be easily found.  It took an entire weekend, and a lot of file folders, but now, it is a piece of cake to find documents I need regularly.  It takes me a few minutes to file things as I need to, but it is so worth it.  It also cuts down on the clutter I run into on my desk.

Good luck with your meeting.

Hugs,
Trish

Hi Carla and OFF family, Happy Monday! Whhhoooooooo!

I'll be running all day long here at work, will get overtime due to the Air Zoo event for my volunteers. It should be a blast, it's our yearly event we do the thank them. This year it's the Air Zoo. Next year who knows! LOL

Had a busy weekend and it flew. Time flies when your having fun. People were backed up on the highway this weekend due to the B-93 Birthday bash that was in Martin. I stayed away from the highway and took the back roads.

Everyone have a great day. I'll be playing "flight attendant" this evening! We will all be wearing white shirts and black slacks and a blazer....keeping the the theme ya know! Hugs Debbie

What is an Air Zoo and who gets to play the TSA pat down person?

Monica, you just made me laugh.
We have an Air Zoo in Portage, MI
It has lots of airplanes and they have several different displays along with rides.
Flight simulators, movies to see, WWI and II and Korea, Nam displays along with a few kiddie rides. I've never been there and I'm so close to it. People from all over come go to the Air Zoo.
It should be fun. I'll post about it tomorrow.

Congrats on staying sober and fighting the good fight! You are strong woman!!

P.S. I don't know who gets to do the pat downs, I'll have to ask! LOL

The Air Zoo is supposed to be a blast. Never got there when I lived up there, but my nephew-in-law and grandnephews Ben and Sam loved it.

Ha, the pat-down person would be a hoot.

Debbie,
Do you have a link for the Air Zoo?  I would like to take my grandchildren there when I am visiting in Michigan.  I need to see how far it is from where my daughter lives.  They would love it.

Hugs,
Trish
